Project Objectives

1. To support community initiatives to use the Information and Communication Technology as a tool for their empowerment and development;
2. To bring together individuals with common interests and skills to work together and focus their efforts to potential opportunities necessary for their socio-economic transformation;
3. To provide training, resources and support for different groups who are involved in community activities in the rural areas to build their analysis, knowledge and skills in using ICTs;
4. To identify and translate important information materials into easily understandable language so that communities can directly apply these in solving their day-to-day problems;
5. To support coordination and harmonization of information and information resources of the communities to ensure coherence and consistence to avoid wastage of the scarce resources and duplication of activities.
